Yes, I host events!
I have toyed with many a stage name over the years, but we landed on what I know best; Mr Jake Alun. It all started back in 2021, when I graced the stage at West End cabaret venue Bunga Bunga, playing the beloved Italian health and safety enthusiast “Linguini Bunga”. From there, I started hosting the main show and even kicked off a thriving musical bingo brunch. I have hosted musical bingo at Barrio Bars, and most frequently a regular spot at Tequila Mockingbird in Covent Garden.
I also have tons of experience hosting a wide range of other events (not just musical bingo!), from intimate private gatherings to large corporate functions. I’ve hosted karaoke events for the Inception Group at iconic venues like Mr Fogg’s Tavern, Bunga Bunga, and Maggie’s Bar. These experiences have sharpened my ability to read a room, create a fun atmosphere, and make sure every guest feels included, whether it’s an evening of karaoke or a corporate event that requires a more formal touch. I pride myself on my ability to bring people out of their shells, and to leave their worries at the door.
